Police and firefighters had been asking for the public's help in locating the missing child.

Firefighters said 16-year-old Michael Williams has been missing since shortly before 9 p.m. Friday in the area of 3500 Guilford Avenue.  They said Williams has autism, but is high-functioning.

Williams is described as a light-skinned black male, standing six feet tall, weighing 130 pounds. He was wearing a white collared shirt and tan pants, with red shorts under the pants. He had on blue Adidas tennis shoes.

If you see Williams, call 911 immediately, but emergency workers urge you not to approach him.
