1. Today will be sunny with pleasant highs in the mid to upper 70s, and tonight will arguably be one of the best weather set ups for fireworks in recent memory. 2. Hurricane Arthur is now a category 2 hurricane with wind speeds of up to 100 mph. Many vacationers in the Carolinas had to pack up early ahead of the storm, and several East Coast cities had their Independence Day celebrations a day early.

4. Indianapolis police have a new warning for women after a new type of purse snatching in Broad Ripple.Three women say a man tried to rob them at gunpoint, without ever getting out of his car. Watch Emily Longnecker's story here.

5. Colts wide receiver LaVon Brazill has been suspended for one year for violating the NFL's policy on substance abuse.Brazill will not be paid during the suspension. He was suspended for four games at the start of last season for violating the same policy. After testing positive, he admitted to using marijuana and offered an apology.
