Fight ends with one dead on northeast side
A large fight early Saturday morning ended in the death of a 47-year-old man outside of a motorcycle club on the northeast side.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers actually heard the fight and gunshots coming from the area of 25th Street and Station Street just after 4:00 am Saturday.
When police arrived at the Capital Punishment Motorcycle Club, they found one person dead with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police identified him as 47-year old Trent Wilson.
Officers located a second victim a short distance from the entrance of the club with lacerations to the head and neck. He was transported to Eskenazi Health.
Witnesses told investigators an altercation began inside the establishment then continued outside.
Homicide detectives gathered several witnesses and transported them via a Indy Go bus to the homicide division offices for questioning.
Detectives said they believe the incident was isolated and likely not a random act.
