FFA delegate who fell at mall has died

Philip Caler, a Texas FFA delegate who suffered critical injuries in a fall at a downtown Indianapolis shopping mall, has died.

Caler fell 41 feet from the third floor of Circle Centre Mall during the FFA National Convention in 2009.

The Amarillo Globe News published an obituary that said Caler, 20, died on September 29.

At the time of the accident, police said Caler was sitting on the railing near the escalators when he lost his balance. A mall employee witnessed the accident.
