Feeling more like a typical August next week
A few isolated thunderstorms are popping this afternoon as an upper level disturbance moves over the area. A few strong storms are possible with heavy downpours, lightning and pea size hail possible.
Storm chances will diminish this evening, as high pressure builds in. The skies will gradually clear with temperatures falling into the low 60s. Patchy fog will be possible.
Sunday will be a pleasant day with partly sunny skies and afternoon highs will climb into the low 80s.
More heat and more humidity arrives next week with temperatures climbing at or above average. Heat indices will make it feel like it’s in the upper 80s.
