FBI locks down family business of Browns owner, Tennessee governor
The Pilot Flying J truck stop business says it doesn't know why FBI and Internal Revenue Service agents locked down its headquarters Monday, but the company is cooperating.
The FBI tells The Associated Press that the move is part of an ongoing investigation, but he would not provide additional details.
Pilot Flying J is owned by the family of Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam and his brother, Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam.
The FBI was keeping all traffic away from the company property late Monday, and Knoxville police patrol cars and officers could be seen outside the headquarters.
The company says Pilot Flying J retail operations remain open.
