Fantastic Friday weather
Today is about as good as it gets for this time of year in central Indiana. Mostly sunny and comfortable 70s are weather perfection in my book, but I’ll let you be the judge. Some high clouds from storm complex hundreds of miles south will cruise by this evening… providing a nice canopy to reflect what should be a glorious sunset at 9:10pm.
The rest of the night will feature mostly clear conditions and pleasant lows back in the 50s. If you like today then you’ll enjoy the weather Friday that will be a near carbon copy. Expect abundant sunshine and mild highs nearing 80 degrees by 5pm.
As we’ve advertised for several days now, Saturday will be the best outdoor day of the weekend. We’ll wake to comfortable lows in the 50s and afternoon highs should eclipse 80 degrees before clouds increase.
After 8pm we’re on borrowed time for completely dry weather, but it appears the highest rain chances will most likely occur after midnight. There remains more questions than answers regarding an outcome on Sunday, with computer model disagreement on the location, track and speed of an upper disturbance.
At the very least there is rain and storms chances Sunday… with a worst case scenario of the system tracking along the I-70 corridor slowly and triggering numerous showers and storms (one option in the modeling).
No need to cancel any plans at this point since we’re several days out. Have a great evening – Sean Ash
