An Indiana family didn't want to forget a single moment in their daughter's first year of life - so they recorded it.

Each day for the first 365 days of her life, Dan Schimpf and his wife recorded video of their new daughter, Millie. They then took a few seconds from each day and compiled it into a six-and-a-half minute video recapping her entire first year and posted it onto the public video site Vimeo.

Dan tells us that Millie's helmet is called a cranial band. "She needed it because she was born with a neck muscle disorder called torticollis. The torticollis caused her to develop plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) - her skull was not rounding out and became flat on one side. The helmet corrected the shape of her skull and the roundness of her face. She had to wear the helmet 23 hours a day starting at 4 months until she was 8 months old. Her head is perfectly round now!"
