Excise Officers Arrest 62 During X103 May Day Concerts

Indiana State Excise Police officers arrested 62 people on Saturday during the X103 May Day concerts at Klipsch Music Center that featured the bands New Politics, Buckcherry, Awolnation, Bush, and Soundgarden.

11 juveniles, 37 minors, and 14 adults were arrested on 67 charges. Of those, 22 were preliminarily charged with Possession of Marijuana. Other charges included Illegal Possession of an Alcoholic Beverage and Furnishing Alcoholic Beverages to a Minor.

All were issued summonses to appear in a Hamilton County court at a later date and released.

"The Indiana State Excise Police will be a presence at Klipsch Music Center throughout their scheduled events," Superintendent Matt Strittmatter stated. "Working in cooperation with the management and employees of Klipsch Music Center, we will continue to promote a safe environment for those attending the music venue through the enforcement of Indiana laws."
