Students displaced by the sudden closing of Flanner House Elementary Charter School will be able to attend enrollment fairs this week with their parents to find another school.

Flanner House Elementary closed after allegations of widespread ISTEP+ cheating. The school's board of directors voted to surrender the school's charter and close by Sept. 11, 2014. After the school's passing rate soared from 56 to 95 percent in 2013, the mayor's office notified the Indiana Department of Education, prompting a year-long investigation. Read the report here.

Parents and students were dismayed by the news that the school would be closing. Now the mayor's Office of Education Innovation will host two enrollment fairs to help students currently enrolled at at the school.

At the enrollment fair, students and their families can get information about more than 25 public, private and charter schools. Students and their families will also be able to enroll in a new school at the fair.

The fairs will take place at the Watkins Park Family Center, 2360 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St.:
