Drying out today, more unsettled weather this week
An area of low pressure is winding down and a slow clearing will take over. Areas in north central Indiana had a half inch to over an inch of rain this morning. Areas south of this area, received lighter amounts of precipitation.
As the low exits the area, some gusty winds will be possible. It will be a breezy day with winds out of the north from 5 to 15 mph, allowing cooler, drier air to move in. It will be partly sunny by afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 70s.
It will be a nice evening with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will fall into the low 60s.
Monday will start off mostly sunny with highs in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees.
An unsettled pattern takes over by Monday night. There is a chance of showers and storms by evening with rain becoming likely on Tuesday.
Heavy rain will be possible on Tuesday with a strong storm or two possible. Afternoon highs will climb into the mid 70s.
Rain chances will continue through Friday. Saturday looks dry at this point but more rain will be possible on Sunday.
