IMPD homicide detectives have sifted through hundreds of tips in the murder of a 15-year-old Indianapolis girl.

The problem is that many of the tips about high school student Dominique Allen have centered around false social media claims about her murder, according to police.

Officers found Dominique's burned body and are looking for evidence at three crime scenes on the near-west side of Indianapolis.

Investigators are asking for more credible clues from the public. Crime stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for the anonymous clue that leads to an arrest in the case. If you know anything, you can call 262-TIPS.
