Metro homicide detectives have sifted through hundreds of tips in the murder of a 15-year-old Indianapolis girl.

Police say many of the tips about high school student Dominique Allen have centered around false social media claims about her murder.

The teenager was found burned to death with the crime scene spanning three locations in the near west side of Indianapolis.

Investigators are asking for more credible clues from the public after dedicating significant resources into finding her killer.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 in reward money for the anonymous clue that leads to an arrest in the case.
