Deputy prosecutor fired following arrest for domestic disturbance
Indianapolis - A deputy prosecutor is out of a job following an internal investigation.
The Marion County Prosecutor's Office said Thursday it has terminated the employment of 28-year-old Kirmille Welbon.
Welbon was arrested over the weekend after getting into an argument with another woman in the 6600 block of Eagle Point Drive.
The woman who lives in the home there told police that Welbon refused to leave and attacked her.
Officers arrested Welbon on battery, criminal trespass and residential entry charges. The prosecutor filed those charges against Welbon Thursday, and a special prosecutor has been appointed to handle the case.
