Police arrested an Indianapolis couple for allegedly selling "Spice" out of their Greenwood tobacco store.

Sonal Parikh, 59, and her husband Yogesh, 64, were taken into custody at Low Bob's Discount Tobacco at 713 Fry Road Thursday morning. Both store owners face charges of dealing in synthetic marijuana. Sonal Parikh faces to felony charges, her husband faces one.

Narcotics detectives started their investigation in October after receiving tips that the synthetic drug was being openly sold at their store. Detectives made several undercover purchases of Spice from both owners during the six-month investigation.

Police say the suspects even indicated to them that they knew selling the drug was illegal.

The suspects are being held at the Johnson County Jail.
