Colts unveil 2017 regular season schedule


INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - The Indianapolis Colts will open the 2017 season in Los Angeles.

The Colts will play the L.A. Rams Sunday, September 10 to kickoff the season, the NFL announced Thursday.

Indianapolis returns home to Lucas Oil Stadium for games against Arizona and Cleveland before heading back to the west coast for a Sunday night game against Seattle on Channel 13. The Colts other scheduled Sunday Night Football appearance will be from Lucas Oil Stadium on December 14 when they host the Denver Broncos.

There are two other prime-time games on the Indianapolis schedule, a Monday night game at AFC South rival Tennessee on October 16 and a Saturday night game on NFL Network from Baltimore on December 23.

The season concludes with a New Year's Eve afternoon game against defending AFC South champion Houston at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Colts' bye week comes the week of November 19, which is Week 11 of the NFL schedule.
