A crucial piece to the Indianapolis Colts defense continues to nurse a sore knee and probably won't play for the second week in a row.

Pro Bowl safety LaRon Landry is likely to sit out in the Colts preseason game in New York against the Giants Sunday.

Landry, who signed in the off season as a free agent with the Colts, has missed more than a week of practice.

Coach Chuck Pagano says he won't rush Landry back.  Pagano says he expects him to be ready for the season opener against Oakland.
