Colts GM ready to chase free agents who can help
Colts general manager Ryan Grigson would rather find help than make a splash in free agency this year.
With more than $40 million available, he could do both.
Grigson told a small group of reporters Tuesday he will aggressively pursue free agents who can help the Colts get "over the hump." He will seek less-expensive players who plug holes, too.
Where do the Colts need reinforcements? Grigson wouldn't say specifically, though it's clear Indy must protect Andrew Luck better and needs to improve the secondary.
One player Grigson confirms the Colts are after is defensive lineman Armond Armstead, who has been playing in the Canadian Football League.
