Colts, fans prepare for tonight's NFL Draft
The Indianapolis Colts are getting ready for tonight's NFL Draft. The team could be selecting six new players over the next few days, based on the number of draft picks they hold for the two-day process of claiming college football players.
Their first pick, barring a trade, will come 24th in the first round.
Fans wanting to get in on the action need to act fast. The team's official viewing party for the draft will take place at the Colts Grille on West Washington, and Antoine Bathea and Donald Brown will be on hand to sign autographs.
Last season was such a success at 11 and 5 that if you want to see these guys play this coming season, you're going to have to act fast. Ninety-five percent of season tickets have already been sold - a big increase from Peyton Manning's last season with the team when there was an 88 percent renewal rate among season ticket holders.
"Colts fans," said Larry Hall of the team, "came and stayed throughout all the games. All the things the team went through both on the field and off, really pulled together Colts nation."
Tonight's draft party run from 7 to 11 p.m.
Colts season tickets are still on sale.
The tickets that are available are upper corner areas of Lucas Oil Stadium for a price of $690 dollars for the season - and average of $69 per game. Although they are in the nose bleed section, some say the best way to watch football is up high.
