A school district in Clark County has stepped up patrols after a threat on social media.

Police are questioning a 15-year-old boy after hearing about a threat he made at Jeffersonville High School. Officers were able to identify and detain the 15-year-old Tuesday morning before school started.

According to police, the student did not intend to act out his threat, but he posted it to social media. Now that student is facing felony charges of intimidation and terroristic deception.

Police will only say he has been detained and won't be back at school for a while.
