Pay raises for Indianapolis Metro Police officers are up for discussion Tuesday.

The City of Indianapolis and the Fraternal Order of Police will meet to discuss the issue.

Mayor Greg Ballard has said he's "seriously considering" forcing the police and fire unions into contract renegotiations to reduce or eliminate the three-percent raise next year.

This could save the city as much as $6 million.
