INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Indianapolis wants to help Carrier workers slated to lose their jobs.

More than 500 positions are about to be outsourced to Mexico. The City-County Council has already approved money to help them make the transition.

A public hearing downtown Monday night will focus on how that money can best be used to help those workers. That meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the City-County Building.
