Christmas morning fire forces family from home


A Christmas morning fire has left two people injured and a Greenfield family without their home.

The fire happened at 3050 W. US-40.

Two people were treated outside the home for smoke inhalation. One was taken to Hancock Memorial Hospital for further treatment. No word on their conditions. 

The Red Cross was on scene this morning to assist the family of seven.

At this time, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
