Change of venue request denied for accused daycare shooter
A judge denied a change of venue request from a man accused of shooting his ex-wife outside an Indianapolis daycare.
Christopher Justice is charged with attempted murder. Police say he shot his ex-wife 13 times in February after she had dropped off the couple's children at a northwest side daycare. The two had been going through a custody dispute.
On Tuesday, a judge denied Justice's request to have a jury outside of Marion County hear his trial.
Last month, Shirley Justice's family members, along with domestic violence advocates, spoke out after a judge reduced Christopher Justice's bond from $100,000 to $25,000.
