Central Indiana temps back in double digits
It is not above freezing yet, but milder air is on the way. It will still be cold overnight, with lows in the teens. This means there will still be slick roads for the Thursday morning drive to work and school. A few pockets of light snow are possible too.
Any accumulations will be under an inch. More clouds and some light snow are in the forecast for Thursday, with highs in the upper 20s and lower 30s.
A few places get above freezing on Thursday and everyone does on Friday. Light snow Thursday night will mix with rain early Friday. Again any snow accumulations will be an inch or less.
I do think we will have some dry, cloudy hours on Friday before rain arrives Friday night and early Saturday. With the melting snow and .50″-.75″ of rain in the forecast, flooding is a concern this weekend.
There is some good news…the rain will end Saturday afternoon. The melting will last through the weekend, with highs in the 40s on Saturday and Sunday.
