Central Indiana crime spree suspect in custody
Police say they've caught up with a suspect wanted in connection with at least four recent armed robberies.
Arsenio McGraw is now in custody after police say he went on a crime spree in three cities. McGraw is caught on camera in several robbery incidents, according to police in Avon, Indianapolis and Brownsburg.
Avon Police Detectives posted McGraw's photos on their Crime Tips Facebook page to drum up publicity about warrants for his arrest along with a second suspect already in custody.
Metro officers arrested McGraw January 26th thanks to an anonymous tip to the Crime Stoppers Hot Line.
Investigators say McGraw and his accomplice hit two Marathon gas stations in different cities and a Subway sandwich shop.
Detectives are looking to see if the pair are connected to other robberies.
"It's important to get people like these two off the street before someone gets seriously injured in their attempt to take money from these businesses using guns," said Avon Police Detective Brian Nugent.
The Crime Stoppers hotline allows people to remain anonymous and give clues on the whereabouts of suspects wanted by police. If you have a tip, call 262-TIPS.
