Carmel Police seek armed bank robbery suspects


Carmel Police have released new images of the suspects involved in a bank robbery Monday.

The men are suspected of robbing the Forum Credit Union on 116th Street.

It happened a little before 10:00 am Monday morning (April 1). Police say the two male suspects were armed with handguns.

Witnesses told police the men came into the bank armed with handguns and demanded cash. They fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police were unable to find the suspects after setting up a perimeter and conducting a search.

Officers found the suspects' vehicle, a yellow Chevrolet Cobalt, abandoned in the area of 116th and Keystone.

Suspect 1: black male wearing a gray hoodie, black mask and gray pants.

Suspect 2: white male wearing a black sweatshirt, black mask and black pants.

Both men were armed, according to police.
