A car crash in Boone County killed one person Wednesday night.

A wrecker, a semi and a mini-van collided at the intersection of State Roads 75 and 32 around 8:00 p.m., according to Corporal Robert Hatfield with the Boone County Sheriff's Office. Investigators say the semi was turning east onto SR 32 from SR 75 when it collided with the wrecker, which was traveling east on SR 32, approaching SR 75. The wrecker then crossed the center line and struck a westbound minivan.

The driver of the minivan, Lee Cummings of Crawfordsville, was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, Donna Crowder, was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital in stable condition.

The drivers of the semi, Thomas Quinn II of South Carolina, and wrecker, Joshua Matthews of Illinois, were not hurt in the crash.
