Can't miss soccer? Klinsmann has your back

Afraid you'll be stuck behind a desk for Thursday's World Cup match between the United States and Germany?

Juergen Klinsmann has your back.

The U.S. Men's National Team posted an excuse note from the head coach on their Facebook page Thursday, so fans can get permission from their boss to leave work for the noon game.

"I understand that this absence may reduce the productivity of your workplace, but I can assure you that it is for an important cause," the note read.

A win over the Germans would assure the American side a spot in the knockout round of the World Cup. With a loss, United States would need help from the Ghana-Portugal result to advance.

"We will need the full support of the nation if we are to advance to the next round," the note continued.

In the interest of fair play, Klinsmann gave the bosses and excuse to get out and watch the game, as well.

If your boss is kind enough to let you off work for the match, the Indy Eleven has set up several watch parties where you can catch Thursday's game.
