A popular restaurant is taking a stand against kids.

Fisherman's Grotto in Monterey, California has a sign that is rubbing some people the wrong way.

The sign says, "no strollers, no high chairs, no booster chairs."

At Fisherman's Grotto, children making noise in the dining room is not allowed.

While some are offended, the owner says it's not hurting business.

"I would probably not go there to not deal with that sort of atmosphere and it surprises me because this a family place where you go with your kids for vacation," said Kelly Lozano, a Monterey tourist.

The restaurant owner, Chris Shaker, said, "if a place has the rules, that's what the rules are, you go in and abide by the rules or you find a place more suitable to your dinning."

Shaker says this policy has been in place for two years. They already had two signs up, but felt this third sign was needed to make the message clear.
