The annual Bulldog Jog at Butler University brought out quite a crowd this year.

Runners and walkers brought their four-legged friends, including Butler's official mascot, "Blue 3."

Proceeds benefit professional development for students interested in health, wellness and recreation but some students walked to raise money for their own important cause.

"We're doing a race for grace for NF awareness, which is neural fibral mitosis," said Butler sophomore Emily Hanlon. "It's a tumor growing disease and Grace here, she's my baby sister, and she's 10. She was born with it."

Saturday's participants also brought supplies to help Indiana Bulldog Rescue and the Humane Society of Indianapolis.
