Borden wins Indiana Class A title over Triton
Jalen McCoy scored 15 points, including three 3-pointers, to lead Borden to a 55-50 win over Triton on Saturday to capture Indiana's Class A boys basketball state championship.
Michael Lynch had 13 points and Cody Bachman had 10 for the Braves, who won their first state title in any sport in school history.
Clay Yeo had 26 points with six rebounds and Tanner Shepherd had 10 for the Trojans, who made their first state finals appearance.
The Braves survived a late run by the Trojans and scored three 3-pointers midway through the fourth quarter to stay ahead.
They held the Trojans to just two points in the second quarter and took an 18-9 lead by halftime.
