Conservation officers recovered the body of a woman from the Empire Quarry in southern Indiana early Sunday morning.

Officers were called to the quarry after a report of a body floating in the water. The woman's body was recovered around 5:30 a.m.

The victim, Jamie Fleenor, 37, of Bedford was reported to have been walking a trail at the quarry pit next to an 80 foot high cliff, when she lost her footing and slipped over the edge. Initial indications are that Fleenor drowned.

An unnamed male subject at the scene potentially faces charges for manufacture of Methamphetamine.
