Colts super fans flooded the Circle Center Mall food court on Friday to show support for a young team that is going further than most predicted at the start of the season.
The Indianapolis Colts head to Baltimore this weekend to take on the Ravens in the Wildcard round of the AFC Divisional Playoffs. The Blue Friday Pep Rally is just one of many events held across the city to send off the team and drum up support from Colts fans.
Former Colts linebacker and Defensive Captain Gary Brackett joined four Colts Cheerleaders and Mascot "Blue" in signing autographs for fans at the rally. In the waiting line, children decked out in their new Andrew Luck jerseys and face paint waited anxiously to get their pictures signed. The famous Colts Superfan was the first person to get through the line at noon.
The musical cover band "Dave and Rae" performed next to the autograph line and fans in extravagant costumes broke out in dance near of the autographs table, chanting for a Colts victory this weekend.
The kickoff for the Wildcard game is on Sunday at 1p.m. EST. The Colts leave Saturday for Baltimore.
Beginning at 9:00 a.m., the posters will be available at 50 Central Indiana Huntington Bank branches and 11 Central Indiana Toyota dealerships.
From 6-7 p.m. the Colts Friday Night Radio Show takes place at the Colts Grille downtown.
And once the sun sets, from 6-11 p.m. - the Colts light display is back at the Pyramids.
"We've got a lot of enthusiasm in the building," said Chuck O'Hara of the Colts.
