Dozens of Pacers fans scored a free seat at Monday's home game just by rolling up their sleeves.

Vouchers for the free tickets were handed out at a blood and bone marrow drive Monday. The drive was put on in part by one of the team's top players - Roy Hibbert.

Many sported Pacers gear as they donated blood or joined the bone marrow registry at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Organizers said they're two simple actions that have a lifesaving impact on patients.

"What's donated today gets tested tonight and can actually be at a hospital tomorrow to save lives. So talk about one of the quickest and most intimate ways of community service," said Shannon Jordan with the Indiana Blood Center.

All of the blood donated Monday stays right here in Indiana.
