Black Keys baseball team considers selling jerseys

Akron Beacon Journal

A boys' baseball league in Akron, Ohio, is planning to sell replica t-shirts of one of its team's uniforms.

That's because their sponsor is The Black Keys and photos of the shirts are all over the Internet. Drummer Patrick Carney posted an Instagram photo of the Orioles of the West Akron Baseball League that had "The Black Keys" on the backs of the jerseys.

Orioles coach Kevin Floyd tells the Akron Beacon Journal few of the kids knew who the band was before, but they all know now.

The team went undefeated this season. Carney says baseball was the highlight of his summer until he discovered he was no good at it, so he turned to music instead.
