Bisard wants Indiana Supreme Court to take case
The attorney for Indianapolis Metro Police Officer David Bisard is asking the Indiana Supreme Court to take on the case facing the officer. The state Supreme Court will have to decide whether to accept or decline the case.
A blood sample from Officer Bisard showed that he had a blood-alcohol content more than twice the legal limit when he crashed his squad car into a group of motorcyclists, killing one and critically injuring two others in August 2010.
There's no timeline for the court's decision.
