Big Ten trophy games could impact coaching staffs

Beyond Ohio State-Michigan, the drama in the Big Ten this week might come down to the three trophy games: Iowa at Nebraska, Northwestern at Illinois and Purdue at Indiana.
The head coaches or staffs at Nebraska, Illinois and Indiana could be in for some anxious moments.
Cornhuskers coach Bo Pelini says the media has fueled speculation about his situation. Athletic director Shawn Eichorst has yet to comment on Pelini's status and won't until after the season.
Illinois coach Tim Beckman might have saved his job by beating Purdue last week. But defensive coordinator Tim Banks might be in jeopardy.
Same goes for Indiana defensive coordinator Doug Mallory, whose unit has languished the last three years.
