BB gun incident prompts lockdown at Northwest High School
Northwest High School went on lockdown Wednesday after an incident involving students and a BB gun.
School officials say they heard four people were running near the school and one appeared to have a gun. IPS Police caught two students.
Another student came to the school with what appeared to be four welts caused by BB pellets. Police say the injuries aren't serious. The students' parents have been contacted.
Authorities are still looking for a fourth individual believed to be involved.
IPS said the incident occurred outside school and no one inside Northwest High School was in danger.
