Avon Police have arrested a 28-year-old Avon man after a string of hold-ups.

Police arrested Jake R. Priscal on Tuesday.

Officers were in the area of the Avon Pet Supplies Plus store conducting surveillance when Priscal went in and then came out running as the robbery was called in.

Police say they stopped Priscal and found a plastic gun, cash and drug paraphernalia after searching him.

Investigators say he matches video of robberies in Avon and Brownsburg. Police called their suspect the "low-key robber" for his no-drama modus operandi.

Priscal was already on probation for operating while intoxicated in Hendricks County at the time of his arrest for the recent robberies.

Priscal faces four charges of armed robbery, criminal confinement, intimidation, theft, battery and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Investigators say Priscal was not cooperative despite the video from the robberies.

Priscal lives within a half-mile of the first robbery at a Marathon gas station and a mile from Extreme Tanning, another robbery location, where he used to be a customer.
