Avon Police investigated a bank robbery at 963 North State Road 267 on Monday morning.

Two masked suspects reportedly robbed the Hendricks County Bank and Trust. No injuries were reported.

The suspects were described as African-American. They fled in a maroon van and went eastbound on CR 100 North. The van was found in the driveway of El-Bethal Baptist Church with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say it's undetermined if the suspects were armed.

Police set up a perimeter in the area and used a K-9 to track the suspects, but ultimately did not find them.

Avon Schools went on lockdown while police conducted their search. The lockdown was later lifted.
