Police in northern Indiana say they've arrested a person in connection with the death of a 76-year-old woman whose body was found inside her home.

Elkhart County Sheriff Brad Rogers announced the arrest Sunday night, two days after Norma Hopper was found dead in a neighborhood just east of Elkhart.

Authorities have ruled Hopper's death a homicide, but The Elkhart Truth reports details of the circumstances haven't been released. Rogers didn't immediately release the name of the person arrested or what charges the person faces.

Rogers says investigators also found a car that was missing from Hopper's home.
