Arrest made in connection to Spring Mill Road home invasion

Police have arrested a suspect wanted in connection with a home invasion on Spring Mill Road on October 24th.

Demetre Brown, 21,  of Indianapolis was taken into police custody Saturday night and preliminarily charged with robbery and criminal confinement.

According to police four people kicked in the back-door of a house in the 7000 block of North Spring Mill Road.  The suspects tied up the homeowners and ransacked the house.

The robbers escaped in the victim's 2006 Jeep Commander that was recovered a few days later.

Michael Pugh, Alexander Dupree and Trae Spells are already in police custody in connection with a more violent attack on 79th street on Tuesday . Police believe those suspects were involved in the Spring Mill Road robbery but they have not connected this latest suspect to that case.
