A couple's argument led to the woman driving into a house early Wednesday morning in Fountain Square, according to Indianapolis Fire Department crews who responded to the accident.

Neither the man or woman were seriously hurt, but both were taken by ambulance for treatment at area hospitals from the corner of State and Woodlawn.

Emergency crews told Eyewitness News the couple had left Cloud 9 when the argument started. The driver took out a utility pole with the pickup she was driving before clipping the corner of a vacant house.

Code Enforcement investigators will determine the level of damage sustained by the house.

Authorities at the scene could not release names of the couple. They believe alcohol could have played a role in the crash.
