Arctic front brings snow, high winds
Temperatures continue to drop, but the high winds that prompted an overnight warning are drying down. At one point, many towns reported wind gusts in excess of 50 mph.
Now, temperatures will slowly drop to near zero and hold steady during the day.
Look for a low tonight of -17 below, the coldest night of the season so far. Wind chills this evening will be between -25 and -35.
We'll see highs reach the 20s by Thursday and that's also when the chance for snow returns.
