HARPURSVILLE, N.Y. (WTHR) - April the Giraffe is still pregnant, but many people believe they saw a sign that her new baby's arrival is imminent.

The Animal Adventure Park where the 15-year-old giraffe lives posted a picture of April in her stall last week that appears to show the head and neck of a young giraffe silhouetted in her bedding.

Take a look:

It took us a minute, but once we saw it, we can't unsee it!

Daily updates from the Animal Adventure Park

We were treated to two updates early Wednesday on April's progress.

Could an agitated April be an about-to-have-a-baby April? The vet and her caretakers are continuing to be cautious, but it seems like something's happening:

April's caretakers are optimistic that they are in the "home stretch," but are still exercising caution about issuing such statements:

"Still happy, still healthy, still not in labor."

And we're still waiting on a baby giraffe as Monday, March 20 winds down.

A new week, but still no baby for April. Here's the latest from Monday morning at the Animal Adventure Park:

The vet report Wednesday says to expect to see a "shift in calf position" to move into a position for birth!

Up to three feet of snow is on the ground around the Animal Adventure Park, but April is staying warm inside a heated barn. And she's still pregnant.

Late Tuesday night, park officials said the signs were showing that April was nearing the end of her pregnancy.

A winter storm moving through the east coast is causing some issues with Animal Adventure Park's live stream and staffing, but April is staying strong (and pregnant!)

The last report from the park's zookeepers Monday night was that April might be starting to get close!

Follow along with previous updates from the park here:

April's keepers reported a significant amount of belly movement and tail raising by the mom-to-be, as well as a strong appetite.

Millions of people have tuned in to watch April move around her stall in anticipation of the big day.
