Anderson Police search for robbery suspects

Police, sheriff's deputies and Indiana State Police conducted a man hunt in the area of Garnet Drive and Hartman Road, from 100 West to 200 West Sunday night.  Authorities requested all residents stay alert and report any suspicious person to 911.

The suspects were believed to be involved in an armed robbery and a pursuit that started shortly after 6:00 p.m. when three black males robbed the Harvest Market at 32nd and Columbus Ave. in Anderson.

The three fled in a Ford Focus, leading police on a chase that ended on Hartman Road near Broadway when they crashed the car. 

All three ran but police caught one and he is in custody.

Anderson Police and the Madison County Sheriff's department were searching for the other two suspects who fled, but that search ended around 10:30 p.m., according Madison County dispatch.

One of the men is wearing a red shirt, according to Sheriff Ron Richardson.

They are considered armed and dangerous.

State Police aided in the search with a helicopter.

Police believe that these three suspects robbed the same store this morning around 8:45 a.m.
