AGT Judge Howie Mandel says everyone is welcome to give it a shot.

"Anyone. Everyone. Any age. No rules. Anything that you deem as talent. There could be fire. There could be noises. There could be nothing. There could be silence. Darkness. Lightness. Whatever you want to bring, we are willing to see it and your life could change forever. You don't have to win. You don't have to win the million dollars. But your life could change," he said.

We asked Howie what his number-one tip was to people trying out.

"Number one tip is do it. Anybody is eligible. The point is - people always say, 'I think I can do it.' Or 'I know somebody.' And then it just doesn't happen. Just show up," he said.

"America's Got Talent" is the only talent competition show open to any age and any talent. The auditions are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for performers across the country to showcase their talent in 90 seconds to the series' producers, in the hopes of being able to take the stage in front of the "AGT" judges. Every type of performer is welcome: Last season's competitors included musicians, dancers, magicians, contortionists, comedians, singers, jugglers, animal acts and everything in between.

The season 9 audition cities include:

Oct. 26-27: Miami – Miami Hyatt Regency

Nov. 2-3: Atlanta – AmericasMart Atlanta

Dec. 7-8: Denver – Colorado Convention Center

Jan. 25-26: Indianapolis – Indiana Convention Center

Feb. 8-9: Los Angeles – Los Angeles Biltmore

Currently in its eighth season, "America's Got Talent" stars celebrity judges Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howard Stern. With the talent search open to acts of all ages, "America's Got Talent" has brought the variety format back to the forefront of American culture by showcasing performers from across the country.

"America's Got Talent" is produced by Simon Cowell's Syco Entertainment and FremantleMedia North America. Cowell, Jason Raff, Sam Donnelly, Trish Kinane and Rob Wade are the executive producers.
