He was supposed to be helping a member of the Dave Matthews Band take care of his bills and invest his money. But now a Virginia man is admitting that he ripped off the group's violin player, Boyd Tinsley.

Getty Andrew Rothenberg has pleaded guilty to wire fraud. He says he has embezzled at least $400,000 from Tinsley. The two had been friends for decades, but authorities say Rothenberg padded expense bills - and pocketed the extra cash.

Rothenberg faces up to 30 years in prison when he's sentenced on September 17.
