Indianapolis Metro Police are investigating a man accused of peeping at a local tanning salon.

Police say an 18-year-old female customer complained that a man took a picture of her while she got undressed to tan. She told police she looked into a mirror on the wall and saw someone's arm extended over the opposite wall with a cell phone in his hand.

It happened at EZ Tans at 5905 Madison Ave. on Wednesday afternoon.

Police are investigating the 35-year-old suspect, who initially claimed he was a business partner of the tanning salon. But the salon's owner says he has no connection to the business.

The man, who was in the booth adjacent to the woman who lodged the complaint, told police he was taking pictures of himself and sending them to employees of the business via Snap Chat. His phone matched the woman's description and it was taken as evidence.

The case is still under investigation and no charges have been filed yet.
